McClure - Clarence

Mrs. William Goben, 107 S. Walnut received a
message today announcing the death of her son, Clarence McCLURE, who
died suddenly in Washington DC this morning. No particulars were given
as to the cause of his death. Mr. McClure was 46 and is survived by his
wife, 3 sons, Dale, James and Ray of Washington and his mother, Mrs.
Goven of this city. He was graduated from the local high school and
Wabash College, was a member of the Wabash Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta
fraternity and for a number of years was physical director at the YMCA.
Mr. McClure left Crawfordsville about 8 years ago and for the past few
years has been in the government service. At the time of his death he
was employed in the pension office at Washington. Funeral services will
be held at t he home in Washington on Friday. - typed by kbz
